Flider as Patent No. 3,735,120 on May 22, 1973 and assigned to The Justrite Manufacturing Company, Chicago, IL.  As described in the patent, the lamps were made from standardized modules which could be assembled in a great variety of arrangements and forms to make many different types of carbide lamps.  Note the handle, hook, bail, and belt attachment options included in the patent drawings later in the pics.  The marketing focus of these lamps was sportsmen rather than miners.)
